Responding directly to Municipal Council, the Director General works diligently in collaboration with the various administrative departments to ensure the smooth running of the town. Shared administrative and managerial duties result in the efficient and sustained delivery of existing services, in addition to providing effective organizational projections and implementation, both essential components to development, continued population growth and the overall wellbeing of citizens in Mascouche.

MUNICIPAL COURT

Town Clerk and Municipal Court

The Municipal Court, to which the Municipal Courts Act (1989, c 52) applies, has jurisdiction in criminal, penal and civil matters.

The Municipal Court sits on average fifty (50) times a year. In accordance with the law, at least one out of every two sittings must occur after 6:00 pm to assure a greater accessibility to the justice system. For additional information, contact 450 474-4133, ext. 2640

Streets and sidewalks clean ?

The entirety of these services and more, are performed or coordinated by Public Works. The Service also handles requests from citizens with regards to maintenance, new projects and work-in-progress, along with final site inspections.

In order to avoid incurring interest and penalties when paying at Caisses Populaires Desjardins ATM machines, please ensure two business days for payments to reach the municipal administration.

By Mail

Payments by mail can be made in the form of a personal cheque, certified cheque or money order issued by the post office or banking institution.

Please make all payments to the order of "Ville de Mascouche". It is important to ensure that the tax account number(s) appear on the back of the cheque for any account(s) covered by the payment.

We recommend sending the payment for the second instalment(s) at the same time as the first, by enclosing a post-dated cheque and appropriate remittance coupon(s).
